The UltraLite Beehive fine Jewelry Kiln has been upgraded to the new Studio Beehive Pro. The Original Beehive is no longer available. ( replacement elements for the original are still available.)
It was originally developed for fine metals granulation and enameling. The are several easy to attach accessories allowing for multiple jewelry making processes like Keum-Boo, Firing Metal Clays, Fusing Glass, Annealing, Fusing fine Silver & Gold.
UltraLite Kilns are very energy efficient and only cost pennies per hour to operate.
Specifications:
The Beehive kiln comes with a 15" cord, it is recommended to be used in connection with the optional temperature controller that comes with a 6' cord.
The UltraLite Beehive Studio Pro is an upgrade from the original UltraLite Beehive Fine Jewelry Kiln model.
The Beehive Pro has a larger heating element which creates a much larger heat sink to accommodate large pieces. The accessories for the original Beehive Kiln with the exception of the controller for the 240V version will work with the Beehive Studio Pro kiln.

High temperature Metal Clay Firing disks create an ideal environment to evenly distribute heat for firing Metal Clays. They are not recommended for enameling.
Specially formulated Brass plates are placed securely on the top of the kiln providing the ideal surface and temperature to perform the ancient process of Keum-boo, fusing fine Gold to Silver.
